The Point Bonita Lighthouse

This lighthouse was built in 1877 and recently renovated. The 1000-watt light bulb was built in Paris
in the 1850s and shipped to California around Cape Horn.

Call the number above to RSVP for tours, and ask about the availability of sunset or full-moon tours!

Point Bonita Lighthouse is currently open Saturday, Sunday, and Monday afternoons from 12:30–3:30 pm. Note that according to the website:
"Getting there is a challenge. Parking is limited and the 0.5-mile walk is steep and precarious. This spot, at the “world’s end,” is ruggedly beautiful."
